Women's Convention

For decades women have been at the forefront of the gun violence prevention movement. In this session, women leaders from a cross section of gun violence work will talk about the strategies they utilize in taking a public health approach to combating one of the most critical issues of our time. Panelists will also talk about the challenges and opportunities of being women in the gun violence space(s) and how intersections of race, gender, class, and even geography play a role in how we are seen as leaders on gun violence.
